Austin Hoyt is originally a Southern Vermont native and a 2006 Alumni of Pennsylvania College of Technology / Penn State University with a BS in Graphic Design. Austin currently works in New York City as a freelance Art Director and Web Designer with Ogilvy and Mather / RedWorks Division. Prior to Ogilvy / RedWorks, Austin has been fortunate enough to embark on many great experiences thus far in his career holding both full-time staff and freelance positions. Beginning in the late fall of 2006, Austin moved to Suffern, NY to take a staff position as a designer with a small local advertising company working on a range of disciplines including front end web development, branding, magazine and brochure design for the local community. Upon leaving the agency in Suffern, Austin began working as a freelance designer in New York City.

Working with a freelance staffing agency Austin began to work with successful design agencies and produced work for Samsung Electronics, NFL, Madison Square Garden, HBO, Scholastic, Charles Schwab, Hang Ten Clothing, Clinique Cosmetics, Armani Exchange and Victoria’s Secret PINK working on NFL, MLB and College licensing.

In 2008, Austin worked as a Junior Art Director for Van Wagner Communications; an extensively large outdoor advertising company. His responsibilities at Van Wagner included various corporate branding, collateral design for sales, billboard development, advertisements, e-mail blasts, and sales photography throughout New York. When Austin isn't working he enjoys traveling back home to Vermont to snowboard and spend time with family and friends. He currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
